GIRAFFE MANOR, nairobi
With a resident herd of semi-habituated Rothschild giraffe, breakfast and tea are unique experiences at Giraffe Manor.
Located in a quiet residential area of Nairobi, the Manor has twelve en-suite luxurious bedrooms spread between two buildings. Modelled on a Scottish Hunting Lodge in 1932, the Manor has undergone extensive renovations over the years, but still retains its old world charm.
Whilst you’re here you can feed the giraffe treats through the windows, give them kisses on the terrace and watch the young ones play on the lawn. You can also visit some of the other local attractions, shops and museums - such as the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, The Karen Blixen Museum, Kazuri Beads and Matbronze Gallery.
