During the months of July – August the impressive annual migration of wildebeest in their thousands, zebra and gazelle cross the Tanzanian border and rivers from the plains of the Serengeti, in search of the lush grasslands of the Mara. Their dramatic river crossings are not to be missed, and the predators are plentiful: lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackals and the vultures circling overhead.
